The energy is electric — designers finalize last-minute adjustments, models cycle through hair and makeup stations, and the creative vision comes alive under fluorescent backstage lights. As a makeup artist working backstage, every second counts. We receive the creative brief days before the show, study reference images, and prepare our kits with precision. On the day, we typically have 10-15 minutes per model to execute the look flawlessly. This demands not only technical skill but also the ability to adapt — every face is different, and the look must be consistent yet personalized. This season's shows featured a fascinating range of beauty directions. We saw everything from barely-there skin with a single bold element to full-on artistic expressions using color, texture, and unconventional materials.
